EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS:

I was in Sedona, in ceremony and at home hangs with beautiful friends who are as they would say – deep in their study of musicianship.

Coming from a professional theater world of acting and voice, a lot of the joy, the curiosity, the softness, and kindness in the exploration was often lost and traded in for achievement, precision, booking the gig, getting paid.

So, I had such deep respect for how open, inviting, and encouraging the community was — creating space for exploration whether you had been playing for years or a day.

They offered space for anyone to offer a song. Some were expert in their precision, others navigated keeping a beat and singing… and it was all beautiful. Raw. Real. An open channel of expression and co-creation. A song in that space was being presented as a divine offering. That framing really shifted things for me. Like, why would I not want to provide this as a service to all?

I slid forward and began singing. Immediately, my body pushed me onto all 4’s and I began undulating as the song came through my channel in the most primal expression.

I opened my eyes and two of my dearest friends were sitting across the circle in tears, afterwards sharing that the song and the way I channeled it was deep healing medicine for them.

Music is medicine. Art is medicine.

Content is medicine.

Because love is medicine and all of these things are channels for our expression of love.

It is an offering to the divine. A living legacy of my ART and my essence.

CONTENT IS ART.

I don’t think enough Content CREATORS think of themselves as Artists. An identity that embodies SELF-EXPRESSION, playfulness, flow state, and opening to channel.

I believe approaching content from that lens, helps to dissolve the need for approval, and REALLY brings things back into alignment for true, authentic expression.

With a theater background I spent my life investing 90% rehearsal behind the scenes for the 10% people would see.

That would be weeks and weeks working on an audition song, paying for audition coaches, classes, and voice teachers, to have 30 seconds in a room for a 16 bar cut to make your impression.

Or getting cast in a show and rehearsing for hours on end, learning dances, music, lines, to get up on stage and make it look effortless. To have the audience lost in the story.

It’s my artistry and way too many marketers either have forgotten or they never thought about it this way and became wrapped up in the claps. Being a content creator is magic. You’ve got a direct pulse on your audience and you get to make an instant, direct impact. It’s a unique way to channel a message — the photography, videography, writing — it’s a collage of your message to the world. This isn’t your work, this is your love. Your gift to the world.

Your content is medicine.

Your content is art.

Your content is a divine offering.

Your content is an expression of your love.
